Interesting, though: this interview was conducted prior to their tour start. I would say that all in all, Sting had to eventually acquiess and Stewart's instincts were correct: they have now returned pretty much to the original tempos/sounds of the songs, bowing to the critics and their fans. And I say, good for them! That shows wisdom and insight and the willingness to change.
