OK, so being the completist that I am (as most of you who know me on a personal level know), I had to buy the revised "Very Best Of" collection several months ago when it was released in the US. And it's strange that I didn't notice the following until last night. (I thought I was just exhausted at the time and hearing things... or that my car was acting up on me again) Track 12 on the CD is the LP version of "Brand New Day." If you advance to 2:38/2:39 during the song, right at the start of the line, "I say, love is such a force..." you'll hear something crazy. In one ear, I hear: *I say* love is such a force... (the way we know it from the Brand New Day album) In the other ear, I hear: *But this* love is such a force... (a bad overdub that sounds like it wasn't mixed properly during post-production) For others that have this collection, let me know if you hear the same thing. I don't know if I happen to have some sort of defective copy, or if I really am losing it these days... :) steve _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam?
