That first period of writer's block lead to my favourite of his solo albums (The Soul Cages), and I am quite certain that if he had not had writer's block this time around, we would not have seen a Police reunion. So, I am all for Sting having writer's block from time to time! The only problem now is that he is not showing any signs of coming out of it. I hope he does, for his sake...and from a selfish perspective, like I have said in the past, I need to hear some new Sting-written material to keep me going.
