As a senior now who LOVED Simon and Garfunkel as a teen, I do have to say Disturbed's Sound of Silence is amazing!

I do have a hard time finding new music now that the kid is married and out of the house. Though his last two years
at home he just seemed to play Morrissey so can't say I miss that. 

I suppose for me The Fugees cover of Roberta Flack's Killing me Softly is another great cover. Not sure it is greater than
the original though. Love them both.

Excellent! Most covers are just that, this one captures the feeling of the original. 
Btw, I think Sting's cover of Elton John's "Come Down in Time" is better than the original! One of three covers I think are as good or better. The other two are Disturbd's "Sounds of Silence" (better) and Metallica's "Turn the Page" (as good). Please suggest more,
it's great to see the list come alive again!๐Ÿ˜
