WE ARE THE WINNERS!!!!!!
Nothing compared with the Spanish coverage.Only the
first 3 hours are covered live, then they take a break for the bicycle event
of LE TOUR the France ( incredible!!).
When he decided come back 4 hours later, the
last 3 hours they covered the event with cuts of some of the songs they
past before and we see everything broadcast, nothing live, till Pink
Floyd.
The coments are incredible, 2 young journalist who
named "S.O.S" song perfomed by STING!!!!!.instead of "Message
in A Bottle".They break every 10 minutes for comercial..and the most funny
and important, the event was covered for the "National Spanish TV"
RTVE and not for any private channel.
Really, nothing compared with the "f....ing Spanish
TV"..nothing.
toni from Catalonia (not
Spain!!!!)
In my case, I follow the UK show by
AOL.

I'm on a U2 list and everyone has talked about how terrible the US TV
coverage was. Apparently, the ROTW had great coverage of the concerts. But in
the US it's like it would have killed MTV to show an entire song without
breaking away to a commercial or commentary (the same thing, every time) from
the VJs.
I caught the last 2 seconds of Driven to Tears after coming home from the
grocery store. I flung the bags on the counter and sat to watch EBYT, melting
ice cream be dammed. The ice cream didn't have long to wait, however. MTV only
showed about half of EBYT then went to the announcers chatting while I could
barely hear and see Sting in the background. They did that with every artist.
Shameful.
