Wow. Talk about sloppy. The video to me doesn't seem
to have been remastered - you can see analoge tape scanlines and interference,
especially on the titles where the picture is really
'noisy'...
I can't believe that on a region 2-6 disc, they haven't even put
an NTSC logo on there...
I'd send the disc back myself and say it's not fit for it's
intended purpose. They're quick enough at putting Region codes on discs to
prevent them playing in foreign territories, but they can't be bothered to make
sure it's fully compatible with the equipment where they DO want it
sold.
That's just shabby, lazy, and cheap if you ask me. They have
no excuse for not making it PAL compatible - they can't even claim that it's to
keep costs down so they can manufacture one global disc, otherwise they wouldn't
have locked out region 1 - which ironically IS NTSC!
