Hi Chris, I got tix to the Miami show. Tix for Tampa go on sale tomorrow morning, and I'll be trying for those as well. I plan on attending both shows, and I'm going to try to weasel my way backstage to meet Sting, Stew & Andy. I'm composing a letter to send to management, plus a few members of the list have made some contacts for me and have given me other leads to pursue. Don't worry, I'm a persistent little cuss who usually gets his way! Thank you so much for thinking of me. Peace & Police, Scott Sands "I'm a cripple, remember? Any luck so far? I was calling in to 101.5 (The Point, out of Tampa) today to try and win you tickets, but no luck so far. (I have my tickets already, floor seats for Denver) Also emailed Jay Edwards at Mix 105.1, and he forwarded it to the proper people there. Haven't heard anything more from it, but then I haven't heard them saying they're giving away tickets either. Anyhow, just letting you know I'm still thinking of you and trying to figure out how to get you there. Let me know how it's going on your end, we haven't heard from you on the mailing list for awhile. 101.5 the Point welcomes The Police, July 11th at the St. Pete Times Forum. Tickets go on sale this Saturday (March 10) but we've got your chance to win tickets! Listen weekdays between 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. for two Police songs back to back. Caller ten (when the second song starts) scores a pair of tickets to the show! See Official Rules for complete details. I was driven to actual tears as I saw Sting, Stew and Andy rock the Whiskey on today's webcast. I have muscular dystrophy and have exceeded the average life span for people with this disease by about fifteen years - I am now 40. I think maybe God kept me alive for this long so I could see this Police reunion. I am elated beyond belief! I've lived for this!
Peace, Scott Sands Orlando, FL
