Yes, the stuff since MF was less quality, and for that I blame, as I have many times in the past, Kipper. Trying to hip-hop up Sting's music is ridiculous, like the time he sang with the Backstreet Boys. Ouch. (Okay, he did it for Coco. That is the ONLY reason I give him a pass on that!)
Would he ever go back to the Police days? He already did. The Broken Music Tour was, simply, wonderful. Why? NO OVERPRODUCTION! And I got a taste of what it must have been like to see the Police live. So I have to say, I'm not envisioning a tour, but maybe a one-shot, somewhere in the world, to commemorate the occasion. Or maybe they'll get together privately and have a toast to their longevity, and the fact that they can still perform without looking ridiculous (like some aging rockers who will go unnamed here!). Hey, Sting is just a year older than me, but I certainly don't go around in public doing things I did 30 years ago! And no, I will *not* elaborate on that! ;-)
Just my humble opinion, so please save the flames, especially since we've all been so civil since the list got active again.
