I don't understand why some on this list think it unhealthy or unacceptable to criticize Sting. I consider myself one of his biggest fans, but I don't worship the man. He's not above criticism. If he releases a bad song, I'll say he's released a bad song. His music is one of my joys in life, but I don't blindly and slavishly dance in the direction of his artistic whims. Art, after all, is a freeform expression open to individual interpretation, thereby necessitating disagreement. What fun would art be if we all agreed on its impact, its definition?
