Hi everyone, here¹s a hopeful SOS I¹m sending out. Sting¹s autobiography is being published in November by Bantam Books, I¹m Italian and I¹m a translator (I work for three among the major Italian publishing houses), so it might not be too late to try to be the Italian translator of Broken Music. What I need to know is which Italian publishing house is going to buy (or has already bought) the book from Bantam Books, then I¹d be able to contact them and propose myself. I¹ve already emailed Bantam but got no answer yet, and of course tried with Giovanni as well. I know this might sound like a rather odd request to most of you, but if anyone can be of any help in making my dream come true and making Broken Music ³the book of MY life², I¹d be forever grateful!
