Hmmm. The mystery deepens! I have never heard of "Dreams of Paradise", but I checked youtube and found the song. I am convinced, though, that it is the same song/singer as in Fool's Garden. Compare for yourself: "Dreams of Paradise": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i190mhciaMs "Fool's Garden": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCDIt50hRDs Oh, btw. there is an old thread on stingus about the song: http://www.stingus.net/forum/threads.php?id=2806_0_13_0_C Apparently the guy singing is called Stephan Maria Glöckner. Lemon Tree is by the German band Fool's Garden, from the 1995 Universal Records release "Dish Of The Day".
I have the single, which has several club mixes as well. Peter Freudenthaler sounds nothing like Sting.
The "Sting" version that you heard is actually a cover version by Dreams Of Paradise. The guy does sound a little similar to Sting, but definitely not him.
Steve
