hey! yes, don, that dvd SHOULD be the LIVE GHOST concert from Newcastle, 1982, without question one of the finest Police concerts I have seen on video and/or heard on compact disc. as far as new material, one thing yet to be released that I would LOVE to have is any evidence of their last offical concert (Australia, 1984). and i FINALLY got the new Uncut magazine, which contains a 10-page cover story on the boys. while not wanting to ruin it for anyone, i will say that its grading scale for the 5 studio albums leaves MUCH to be desired. SYNCHRONICITY, 2.5 stars? 2.5 stars! i wish i wrote THAT review. while it is not my fave album by them (REGATTA is), an excerpt of my SYNCHRONICITY review would be as follows: It is, without question, one of the greatest albums ever put to tape. The ONLY record in its league is ARE YOU EXPERIENCED? Rarely, if ever, has music sounded so...perfect. rich --- "Morris, Donald T." <MORRDT@jea.com> wrote:
Just a quick note; I did see this morning on Ebay a Ghost in the Machine DVD out there. Obviously it isn't 'official', at a price of $49.99 US.
I know my other favorite group (Genesis) relased a live DVD from their 1992 We Can't Dance tour in December. Maybe one day soon we'll see something in the way of a DVD.
