The original question was from Craig, the Police File guy. I found Ian's answer interesting. I put Ian's answer first and the question last, to make sure everyone sees what Ian had to say. Maggie Hello Craig, welcome aboard. I'll try to look into the specifics of your question, a.s.a.p. Meanwhile, when Sting was last in town a week or two ago, Stewart went out to his place in Malibu and played him some tracks he's been working on. Stewart has taken all the masters of every studio and live recording and remixed some of the tracks to the degree that some are virtually new songs. With Sting's approval we might expect to see an album from this pretty soon. Other than that, I don't know about any unreleased material sitting around in the vaults somewhere. Cheers and regards, Ian Hi Ian Just found your site, it's great. I've been a massive Police fan since 1980 and im the editor of a Police Newsletter in the UK. One big question to ask you! Is there any Police Recordings that are still Unreleased in the vaults? such as Unreleased, Outtakes, Alternate Versions, etc Tracks like De Do Do Do '86/Test Add Barbie/Spirits(1981 Re-recording)/Every Bomb You Make, Unrecorded Demos(Such as 'Unrecoreded Ghost Tracks') & Unrecorded Live Only Versions(Such as 'Clouds In Venice') I would love to know.. Keep up the good work Ian Best Wishes Craig Betts, Editor The Police File, UK _______________________________________________ Police mailing list Police@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/police
