Hey Pete! Although we did not meet up, I could feel your vibe!
What a thrill for a hometown girl, seeing her favorite band at her favorite team's stadium.
Surreal.
This was my 6th show, my last will be NOLA... I'm sad just thinking about it!
The visuals were outstanding... they lit the entire stadium at times, pulling all the audience in with them. Very cool. The boys seemed to be having a good time, although not as lively as Honda, just as sincere. Once again, no sitting... I have been fortunate to be surrounded by those who want to stand the entire time also...
Maggie & I, thanks to a recently made acquaintance of mine, got into the Best Buy pre-party tent again, where we were filmed for an in-house BB corp. video. Boy, do we know how to suck-up!!! lol... The food was great, and it was good seeing the FP boys again, this time after seeing them 8 times, I got a picture with them!!! Figured what the hell...
One more concert, then until they come back around, I'm done. Sadly. I will miss losing sleep (someone asked me when I will get some sleep... "July!"), I will miss losing my voice, I will miss the camaraderie (Maggie has been staying at my house practically all week, and I will miss her!!! We went to Staples, Honda, Viper room, and Dodger Stadium together!), I will miss the escapades (uh-hum: Vegas, Vancouver...), but mostly I will miss singing every word, dancing til my feet are sore, and watching my boys give their all on a giant well-lit stage just for me. And you.
But not yet. First NOLA, 15th row, volunteering, this weekend.
Live in the moment, enjoy what's in front of you, especially if it's three killer rock stars singing your favorite song and playing their hearts out.

Dodger Stadium was the last show I had tickets for. I'm glad I got to
see the Vancouver rehearsal and Denver due to the song cuts. I missed
Spirits not for the weak rendition, but the terrific video/light show
that goes with it. The Ghost in the Machine LED faces are my favorite
iconography. They should have made electric pins with that instead of
the Utah shaped "THE POLICE".

I'm not a big Foo Fighters fan, but they put on a great stage show.
Dave Grohl walked out through the floor all the way to the light stage
in the back to play, then ran around the outside of the seating. I
can't imagine Sting ever leaving the stage.

Dodger was probably the best show out of the three. The song order
worked a lot more, and it appears Andy has given up pretending to sing
some of the more prominent backing. Sting did his "Andy this is
Stewart" joke and Stewart cracked back saying, "Sting, I think 20,000
people here already know that joke." Hooray!

The stadium setup has two additional giant side LED screens that have
the same kind of effects as the standard LED ring above the stage.
There were signs at the entries giving notification of a film being
made. A helicopter flew over the crowd during Foo Fighters. Of course
I hope that this is show is like Atlanta was for the Synchronicity DVD,
but I'm guessing they'll put out a DVD with clips from the entire tour.

It was sublime listening to "Walking on the Moon" below the actual
moon. The effect of 55,000 people singing along is something unique. I
wish I could hear it from the stage. It is most likely what really gets
Sting off on the sing-alongs. Tonight was the closest thing to Shea
since 1984. If they close in Wembly, I'll be there.
