Man, it's been a million years since I sent a post here... This came across my email from Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles: Joe Sumner - June 8th Joe Sumner takes a break from fronting rockers Fiction Plane to bring us a collection of emotional and thought-provoking songs using just guitar and voice. Known more for angry and cynical lyrics the acoustic format lets a far more romantic and vulnerable side to Joe shine through. Look forward to much more from him in 2016. Hotel Cafe is a cool little venue that features lots of up and coming singer songwriter types. Unfortunately, I have a work meeting the night of June 8 that is un-missable. Maggie
