OMG - I log on to read all the outstanding reviews I know I am going to read, and, I cannot believe what I am reading, and first of all I want to apologise for all you disappointed readers. I cannot say this loud enough - THE SHOW WAS ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!! I was impressed beyond all belief. They were great, they sounded awesome, they looked like were having a great time, yes there were a COUPLE of songs that were Stingified, but we all knew that would happen. My favourites; Message - what a great start to the show, brilliant; Don't Stand - great high energy; Truth Hits - loved it; Beds too Big - Really good; Invisible - outstanding, loved this a lot; Can't Stand Losing - This was awesome, again, great energy; Next to you - Loved that they played this, loved it ALOT, great end to the show, high energy, fun, fun, fun!! The two disappointments for me were De Do - not good, and Roxanne, but only because I just wanted to here it the way it was originally written and played!!
You guys are in for a treat, you will love it, I am certain. OUTSTANDING!!!! I cannot wait for Wednesday. Didn't sleep at all last night because I relived the show in my head over and over. I also have to say it was so great to meet all you wonderful people - Pete, thank you, you are a true gentleman, Michelle, love you, hope to see you again one day soon, Chris, soon to become my new best friend :-), Bruce, where did you go after the show, wanted to chat with you more, David, you are a great and insightful person to speak with, Ross.....I am not upset that you didn't remember me, and to all the rest of you, it was great meeting you all. I am sorry I don't remember you names right now. I will later, or maybe tomorrow, when my brain is no longer mush!!
Later,
Jo-Ann In Vancouver ![]()

Well I never wanted to say anything because I didnt want to bring anybody down, but from the get go Ive been really scared that the shows would be disappointing because of Sting making everything slower and more mellow, as he has done on his solo tours (which has disappointed me)... and the rehearsal videos backed this up... it is really sad to me, it would be so great to see the 80s energy in the songs, but it doesnt seem like we are going to get that.... Im not pissed, just sad.... also every little thing is my FAVORITE song of all time, and Im afraid its going to be ruined for me! THAT is really sad to me.... oh well! Hopefully there will be moments of greatness that will make the others all worth it!
Love to all,
Dr. Alli

sometimes they really sang a bit, mostly stewart
but a lot of the time they only pretended while samples were played and that's just silly
