Hello fellow fans,<br><br>I was wondering if anyone from this list can confirm the following, that The Police apparently played a brand new song last night at their show, something called 1784?&nbsp; Here's the only information I have about it right now:<br><br><span style="color: rgb(0, 127, 64); font-weight: bold;">"One of the highlights for me was a 'new' Police song that Sting announced as 'Here is an old song many of you have never heard before - 1784.'&nbsp; It was a very hard rocking song, almost like a sequel to Synchronicity. It was short and fast, perhaps a little less than four minutes long. It seemed very modern for today's radio play."</span><br><br>If they did play a new song last night, I for one am sorely disappointed that they decided to wait until the very last performance of the first leg of their tour to release it.&nbsp; Kind of a slap in the face, in my opinion.&nbsp; My one major criticism of their Chicago performance WAS the lack of brand new
