Hello all. Hope you all are enjoying your summer! I am expecting twins in the next few weeks and would like to make a Sting lullaby CD. I have a pretty extensive MP3 collection from back in the Napster heyday, as well as all the CD's. The list has been pretty quiet lately so I thought I would ask for suggestions as to what your ideal play list would be or just single song suggestions that I may not have thought of. "Mother" is definitely out, besides not being the vibe I'm going for, it is the only Sting/Police song that I can truly say I abhor. Look forward to reading your
Congratulations. Well, there's the obvious: "Lullaby to an Anxious Child" That's the only one that I can think of that is topical. But for soothing nice sounding apprpriate tunes I would nominate: "Fragile" ... from the Brand New Day DVD if you can, and you can get the crowd noise out, or maybe from the living sea cd "The Pirates Bride" "Saint Agnes and the Burning Train" "Prelude to the End of the Game" ... alright it's only 17 seconds, but it's still nice, a lullaby cd would be about the only good use of it, besides a DVD menu loop track "Shape of my Heart" ... from the Sacred Love Euro CD. "Dienda" "When the Angels Fall" Of course any baby would be fast asleep by now. "Mad About You" ... from The Living Sea "Why Should I Cry For You 1." ... From The Living Sea You know what? Sting already did your lullaby CD, The Living Sea, the whole thing pretty much. I really like it actually. And as much as I love "Mother" I would leave it off this CD. Am I only the fan that loves that song? Mark.
