Pete, thepolice.com site explained prior to the presale that if the venue is a ticketmaster venue, then your code will work for more than one show, however, if the show you want to see is not a ticketmaster venue, then the code you receive is good for just one purchase of up to four tickets at that particular venue. This is the case for a handful of shows like Ottawa and Buffalo, and it sounds like SLC too from what you said. The Jones Beach show is a ticketmaster show, and because you only purchased 2 tickets for that show, you can use your code to buy two more tickets for other ticketmaster shows...unlucky for you, SLC is not one. Hope that explanation helps. A few minutes later it switched on and I was able to buy two tickets in section G row KK. The same thing happened at 10:00 AM MDT when I went to buy tickets for Salt Lake City. No immediate turn-on at 10:00 AM and it finally hit about six minutes later. Then I found out to my unpleasant surprise that I was only allowed one pre-sale purchase for this tour. The FAQ says 4 tickets per tour, but I don't have a lot of optimism that they'll resolve this. I've sent a few messages through the "Contact Us" link and haven't heard anything back. The other cool thing about Salt Lake City is that the local ticket vendor (it isn't Ticketbastard) is not showing the July concert on their website. So apparently even if I manage to get a code, I have no idea how I am supposed to buy them. _______________________________________________ Police mailing list Police@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/police
