I have ALWAYS said that his cover of Come Down In Time was easily as good and IMHO better than the original, although Elton did a lovely job. Elton and Sting also did a duet of that song, which is also delightful. As far as The Shadow of your Smile, it has also been a request (dream) of mine for EVER that he would do a cover album of Jacques Brel/Michel LeGrand/Charles Aznavour songs!!! He has the PERFECT voice for their songs, and Shadow of your Smile would suit him to a tee!! Happy belated New year one and all! Holly
