Hi Giovanni, I doubt a tribute act would headline a stadium gig, but they could always be a support act, or it could be part of a multi-artist show, like the Diana tribute, Nelson Mandella, and Live Aid/Live8 kind of thing. I certainly can't find ANY details of gigs at the stadium on July 21st, so it's definitely a bit suss at the moment. RE: [Police] RV: Tickets a la venta!!!!! Hi Jason and everybody else around here. In my opinion I would seriously doubt that a cover band would be booked for Wembley stadium, even if they can 'play' with the name, but your explanation is anyway important. I would rather think that they might be in touch with someone at Wembley and 'maybe' there might be some sort of 'deals' about having The Police play there around July....rumours from insiders might have lead them to 'schedule by themselves' a possible concert, but everything based on 'voices', 'rumours'... just another example of people trying to fool desperate fans... The date changed three times in five days as I said in my previous post, and if you call them they just don't know that much about... I asked: 'I'm calling from Italy, are you sure that The Police concert you are scheduling is going to happen?' They said: 'The date should be right' And me: 'Yeah, but I know the tour is not confirmed yet, if they will ever tour' Answer: 'The date should be right' Me again: 'So you are telling me you have confirmation of that concert, that's weird...' And they: 'The date should be right' Giovanni
