Hello everyone! I apologize for the off topic post here but I didn't know where else to try. I need help with a Christmas gift and I am thinking there may be a way someone in Britain can help me. Since this is the only place that I may "know" someone from Britain I'm giving it a shot.

My husband and I are big fans of the author Terry Pratchett. We have all of his books (even the ones for kids) and my husband has read them all at least five times. It seems that there have been some movies made of these books but that they are only available in the UK. The one that I know my husband really wants is "The Hogfather" which is Christmas themed if you are not familiar with the books. I have tried everything I can think of but it seems that the DVD's are not coded for the US.

In some discussions on this list in the past I have heard some people talk of having DVD players that play DVD's from all regions. I guess this is a long shot but if there is someone out there who has this DVD and could copy it for me in such a way that we could play it on a DVD player coded for the US. I would be happy to pay for the DVD and shipping, even a reasonable fee for time spent doing this. You see, it's really about the only thing my husband wants for Christmas and he's my best friend and love of my life. He also has searched the Internet trying to find a way we can get this movie but to no avail. I know he would be super impressed if I could find a way to do it.

Also if anyone has suggestions for ideas, if you have handled a problem like this before, would be most appreciated. Thank you and happy holidays!
