Did anyone besides me see this? Just have to say that before I knew this was a Ricky Gervais production, I could tell immediately that it was.
Hard to describe this show; Gervais' humor is so dry, it chafes (stole that line from my daughter, but it's spot on). It was funny enough, but all
at the expense of Warwick Davis (the show portrays him as a pathetic out-of-work actor with marital and money problems), and jokes like that
tend to make me just cringe after the third or fourth time it's repeated. Sting looked the same: very, very close-cropped hair, clean-shaven. He
played himself, so no stretch to his acting chops! All  in all, not a series I would tune into again without good reason.
