I'm a new member and just joined this list. Been a Police fan for six years now I think.

Last year I bought the DTS cd version of Every Breath You Take (2000 edition) cause I wanted to hear some multi channel tracks and noticed some differences in two tracks: Every Little Thing and De Do Do Do.

I've read somewhere that the De Do Do Do version on this disc is the unreleased 1986 version. Is this true?

Second.. did they use a different drum track for Every Little Thing? Cause in this version there's for instance a double strike (instead of a single one) just before the chorus starts. Also certain other noticable drum parts are missing.

These questions are haunting me for a few months now and I really want to know an answer :)

Too bad that most 5.1 mixes dont sound so good. I wonder why they added those horrible echoes instead of just using the stereo version as a guide.

Anyway, I hope that all other albums will be released in 5.1 soon.
