I sent a post about this a few weeks ago, garnered no response. YES, there apparently is no footage of the guys being inducted back in '03. Don't know the reason why...I would suspect that they had to grante permission for any of their appearance/performance to be used...and that they (or one of them) denied it. (Zeppelin did this (denied permission) in the recent DVD set on Live Aid that just came about. Does anyone on the page (G?) know if/why they denied permission? The new Rock and Roll hall of Fame DVD set has come out and it sounds cool. Not just the performances but backstage and rehaersal stuff. Lo and behold I look through the list and no mention of The Police. Is that correct - the whole 9 DVD set doesnt have any Police/Sting content. I am let down on this front. Anyone know anything about this, why they are left off or if they are on it and I just missed it or its not featured. Thank David
