Funny - I think this track has just about convinced me that I need to see this tour, after all. I find it very beautiful, and his voice sound great! Has anyone come across a decent recording of The Pirate's Bride (my all time favourite B-side) online? There was one on youtube briefly, but now it's been pulled. Different folks, different strokes. Sorry, hate it.
This was one of my favorite of his solo stuff, but this misses the mark. The whimsy is gone, the feeling of a clipper ship sailing an open ocean. This is too damn slow.
