Great! Lydia and I spent some time with Sting today!

Everything went very well, he was a little tired as was coming from Lake House, I guess he woke up very early.

Had the chance to stay with him a few minutes now and then at 'Quelli che il calcio', where he performed 'Whenever I Say Your Name' .

At Top Of The Pop we were front row and he recorded three live songs (live vocals and guitar): 'Inside' (performed twice), 'Sacred Love' (performed twice) and 'Every Breath You Take'; it seemed a weird set, no 'Whenever... ' and no 'Send Your Love', but I think they will use the performances from Top Of The Pops Uk in between.

A long interview followed, and it has been recorded on stage (just a few centimetres from us!).

They asked some of the questions we suggested, starting from the first (why did you choose to promote the record with an edit of the single that sounds differently from the one included in the cd album? - 'I like to change, I like to do different things...' ) .

Other questions already planned by the interviewer were about Irak, the dvd, UFO, Italy, travels, duets, etc...

 

It's been a long day, and you know, even if every time we have something like a pass or whatever, you NEVER KNOW how it will go...we've been lucky this time once again...

 

After wishing each other 'Happy Christmas' and a hand shake before going to dinner, I'm back home....
