Sting was the Police!!! Refusing to accept that fact is pure denial of reality and fact!

Hmmmmmmmmm!

Whilst Sting may have written the bulk of the band's music it was the Andy and Stewart that breathed life into them - therefore Sting couldn't have been the Police on his own.

If you have it, have a look at the Monseratt Doco where Jools Holland interviews the band. The difference between Sting and Andy playing message, is light years. Andy shaped that song, Sting may have written it but its Andy's playing which gives it its edge. In fact at one stage during the doco Sting makes mention of Andy being the guitairst in the band.

I'd bet most of the songs Sting presented to the other two as demos sound totally different as fininshed product, once Stewart and Andy finished with them.

In fact I'd pay more money to see and hear Andy play jazz than to hear Sting anytime!!
