I’m not from Newcastle, (I’m a Yank) but I did live there for a while at one point and I grew to really love the Geordie people and the area.

Frankly it's Sting best trial since many years ( though I like the Labyrinth album  ...) . If you like this album you should listen to the albums of one of the guest of The Last Ship , The Unthanks  ( many good albums you can listen as 'Here's the tender moments ' ...but you must perhaps know them since you seem to be from Newcastle.

Hey all-

I was listening to samples from The Last Ship this morning, and while I wasn’t initially enthused about it, hearing the accents and the music are making me miss Newcastle a lot. I think I’m going to pick it up. Now the question becomes, where do I get it? The iTunes version has 14 tracks, but it looks like there’s an Amazon version with 20. I’d like to buy on iTunes simply for the convenience, but is the Amazon version that much better? What tracks would I miss out on? Is there another, better place to buy that has a better version?

I love the convenience of iTunes, but I kinda miss the days of just buying a CD, too. :P
