I got some news, but nothing definitive yet. Sting & band (the Broken Music band) recorded some new tracks around the Broken Music tour, and and it seems they are quite interesting; they sound like the Broken Music sound, that means they rock; no words were recorded, no lyrics done. By now NO projects have been scheduled, no releases, no concerts, nothing; the band is waiting for a call to know what will happen in the new year; rumours among the band members are that maybe there will be some work before Spring time, that could be the recording process for a new cd release and a following tour. These news respects more or less what Sting already said at the Hay Book Festival in June. Hi folks,
recently I got the latest Best Buy promo CD "Sweet Tracks" (which is released in a tin can).
Sting contributes to this compilation with his 1996 version of "Lullaby For[!] An Anxious Child".
More interesting are the liner notes: "2005 found Sting on The Broken Music tour, named after his best selling memoir. The stripped down & raw rock show received great critical acclaim. Look for the Broken Music Tour to continue in 2006. For regular updates & exclusive material, check out www.sting.com"
---> Does anybody have mour infos on this?
So far I just read about the Rainforest Benefit show in NYC and the Tiger Woods Benefit show in Las Vegas.
Cheers, RĂ¼diger
