[Police] DVD & A & E broad cast

Does anybody know of the A & E broadcast is just going to be the DVD, or is there anything special about it? The A & E broadcast seems to be three hours (with commercials). I wonder if I'm wasting my time recording it if the DVD will be identical. picked up my copy this morning of ATT. I have to confess I'm annoyed with the fact that we miss out on tracks for being in North American. Oh well. Pisses me off.
