I don't expect anyone to remember me (I rarely posted), but I was a member of this list from 1995-2001.  I unsubscribed from the list during a move and never got around to resubscribing since not much new was happening on the Police/Sting front (Brand New Day tour had come and gone by then).  A new job and a new daughter came into my life and I didn't listen to as much music as before.  Recently, though, my love of all things Police has been rekindled and I have been listening to a lot more Police material in anticipation of the R&R HoF induction.  Why have I bothered to tell you all this?  Because I remember in 97-98 there was a lot of buzz about a Police reunion due to the 20th anniversary of the group's debut (Fallout and Outlandos).  Obviously that reunion never happened, but lots of fans always held out hope.  And even if the Police never reunited, we always could look forward to the eventual R&R HoF! induction where the inductees customarily play a couple of songs, all broadcast on VH-1.  In the 90's, that ceremony always seemed to me like it was so far in the future and now I can't believe that it's merely days away!  Anyway, I wanted any newer list members to know that fans have been looking forward to this particular event for many, many years and now it's finally upon us!  Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't this be the complete trio's first public performance together since 1986 (Sting's 1992 wedding reception notwithstanding as it was a "private" performance)?  I can't wait to read everyone's thoughts and impressions after March 16!
