Since when did Sting and Miles part company?

Two things so totally unrelated.  Leave it to
Sting to find the synchronicity.  Still...him
analyzing football is like Dr. Ruth analyzing abstinence.

I adore the guy and love to hear what he has
to say about things, but really--why him??
I thought he parted with Miles because of
these somewhat bizarre promotional tactics?
