Regarding Beatles covers, I saw Sting perform Black Bird when he opened for the Greatful Dead on the TST tour...off-hand, I can't remember if it was at the Buckeye Lake show, or Buffalo...hmmm, I'll have to think about that.

I once had a videotape of a (I think French) TV-show featuring Sting and Yossou N’Dour performing The Beatles “Obladi Oblada” together. To my recollection this was around the Mercury Falling era, but it could’ve been TST to. Would anyone who has this be willing of making me an MP3 of it? I’ve lost the tape but I think I thought it was great. Question #2: what else Beatles-songs have Sting (or the Police for that matter) covered except the one mentioned, “Penny Lane” and “A day in life”?
