OK, that's my beef with Sting.com, after I created a stink at the way the Miami rehearsal show was handled, with no warning and the announcement and ticket sales occurring at 3 AM US time when almost the entire country was sleeping, I thought their handling of that issue was arrogant and I had one jackarse in Spfarrel defending their every move, needless to say, no apology, and no remorse from Sting.com for the way it was handled.  That surely pissed me off.

1)  Isn't premium membership $65 and not $100 dollars?
for me it was $100 Cdn.

2)  It is clear that membership does not guarantee anyone front row seats.  As for me, I prefer to be close to the sound engineer for optimum sound quality, I don't care to see Sting's chest hairs.
But shouldn't "best available", guarantee best available?  Instead of having to navigate elsewhere?  It took me to lousy seats by any definition.  She admitted she contacted the ticket people, and told them it should refer to floor.  But it was too late to help me.

3)  Great seats have been provided by the fan club for some summer dates and most of the completed small venue tour.
Still doesn't help me as far as the glitch goes for the Vancouver show. And yes, it was glitch.  Other shows worked properly according to others.  But not Vancouver.

4)  I am not sure who is profiting from membership dues, if it is Sting or the fan club or if its split but comparing a has been like Prince to Sting, is like comparing Men at Work to the Police.  Also, with the cost of running a fan club, we should not assume there is much profit period!
I don't give a shit if they are making buckets of money, I just wanted a website that did not mislead me when ordering the tickets giving mediocre seats, when they said they are the best available, when BETTER Seats are available through another convoluted process, is was not expected.

5)  Starting a website called "stingfanclubsucks.com" is nasty, vindictive and absent of positive energy.
and screwing me on the sale of the Vancouver show Isn't?   Besides, I didn't start it, did I.  DID!!!!!??????  Although this antagonism might change my mind.

6)  Any blame on the fan club not having great seats to every summer venue should be directed to Sting's management as I believe the fan club is simply playing with the cards they were dealt.
Maybe but I bought my membership through the fanclub.  I bought my tickets through the fanclub.  I do not have the resources or time to pursue everyone who is evading responsible in this situation.  No one will admit the error was threes, but yet somebody made an error.

7)  I agree with another poster in that some of the VIP/Travel packages seem a bit much.

8)  The ability to select floor seats was not a 'glitch', every venue is different, it is not the fan club's responsibility to hold members hands through every menu system.
It is a glitch.  Did you look at the seating arrangement for GM Place?  It is the fan club's responsibility to provide best available seating as promised through the menu.

9)  The fact that Tina called you from the UK, consider yourself lucky, that is service I guarantee you would not get from Price's fan club.
Lucky, How?  I'm still out $140 (Cdn). and still did not get tickets for the show through my membership.  Paying $100 to hear from the president of Sting's fanclub is excessive.

10) Yes, I will renew my membership.
Good, you're happy with it, it worked for you.  It did not for me, thus why would I?  They made no effort to make up for it.
