I guess we got to understand that sometimes
artists are human as well; we would love to have everything they taped,
everything that was filmed, everything and everything....but how many things we
would not show of ourselves?
When Stewart told me about the dvd, what it
would contains, I would pay $$$$$ to have it, as seeing the Police in their
first instore appearance with ten fans going and with the three guys in the band
overexcited because it's their first signing session, I guess it's cool for all
of us, but what about them? I don't know if events like this one would be the
reason to give the ok or whatever, but I'm sure we see it one way, while the
members of the band might have a different opinion. I will meet Sting while in
Italy, I might ask him about these dvd's.
How
many times you see an artist that block the re-release of their album
before they were famous? I've seen this with Alanis Morissette.
With that, I don't want to diasgree with
Teri or Matt, but it's just an opinion about why we can't have everything
we would love!
And about Stewart Copeland fan
club???
The site I am running http://www.stewartcopeland.it is more
or less something like that, or at least Stewart sees it that way; I
planned a meet & greet with fans in Rome, he's completely available with
stuff to be upload on the site (music and video), he takes care about autographs
to be given away to fans (I always give him a pile of stuff to be signed for
fans) and he reads very carefully all the messages I upload on the fans area;
now I have around 150 fans from all over the world; they simply receives
e-mail with Stewart updates, like the ones I sent to you.
IN the coming days I will upload the cover
of the new release out on May 31st!
Yo!
(this is the way Stewart close his
e-mails....)
Ciao ciao

I'm disappointed in
him. Stewart, as I've come to
secretly believe, does love us
more. Now I know why
back in the day my best friend use to like
him best.

Yeah, let's make a Stewart fan club (& Andy!)...
Hmmm... can we do a "Sting stop being a jerk!" club?!
Anyway, I think a good way to please police fans around the world would
be to release The Police live at the Shea Stadium 83! That would be a real
treat... and I know that it has been captured...
Just my 2 cents...
Matt from France.
