Correction: According to the remixer of the song I contacted some weeks ago, the edit version is a remix as well, the original version will be uptempo as well, but definitely is not that ... IBIZA-like ,-)))) Nevertheless, I love it. The only one redeeming possibility is that the single is actually the remix, so the album version may be better.
According to http://www.stingus.net/index1.htm the single edit is 3 minutes 38, and the David Aude remix is 3 minutes 18, so it looks like the version on turningleaf is the real thing, not the remix.
I'd expect there to be more of an intro and outro on the album version, though, probably with more flamenco guitar.
If this is the style of the new album, the whole tour will be in a nightclub, not concert venues...
As the first single, if anything, it's *unlikely* that the album will sound like this. Consider, for instance, We'll Be Together and Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot - not particularly representative of the rest of their respective albums.
I, for one, am looking to hearing this live with a proper drummer. And it's up-tempo enough that we could finally have found the replacement for When The World Is Running Down - which would not be a bad thing.
Incidentally, has anyone worked out all the lyrics yet?
