That is pretty amazing that we've never heard of this connection. Who knows what else passes us by!

I know...there had been no mention of the Sting connection that I know of before the telecast of the race on NBC (they mentioned it on air at least three times).  I did see the horse's name on the list in the paper last night and thought...gee that's the name of Sting's youngest, but thought that it was just a coincidence.  I was rooting for Afleet Alex due to the Philly connection and the connection to Alex's Lemonade stands (which is such a worthwhile cause).  I posted on Sting.com to see if anyone had happened to bet on this horse (so far have not heard any stories of winning bettors!).  I wish I would have...it would have helped with the ticket fund for the next tour!
