In case you haven't heard, I won a pair of tix on sting.com to see Sting [briefly] sing at the Herbie Hancock tribute at the Thelonious Monk Inst. competition this Sunday eve at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood!!!

 

Being a jazz fan, I will get to hear a bunch of jazz favs along with some rock/pop favs sing to HH--I cannot wait!!!! Chris Botti will be there as well, along with Nancy Wilson, Wayne Shorter, Terence Blanchard, etc.

 

woo-hoo!!! So excited... night on the town--it's been a while! No doubt I'll be up in some balcony somewhere... although I hope that's not true... either way, I'm IN THE HOUSE!!!!
