I too, was thankful he didn't join in on that debacle at the end. What about when he said "hang on, I'm working" off to the side of the stage, was he getting heckled or was Trudie standing there waiting for him? He did look quite stunning, guess he felt that way too because it really came through in his presentation. Yes, he was the only presenter to read from a paper (besides John accepting his award). Mmmm, he did look good though. Matthew McConaghey WAS way out there, but we have to remember that this is the guy who was playing the bongos nude in the middle of the night. He just marches to the beat of his own drummer, that guy. Kinda scary. Different subject: While watching the U2 special on DirecTV last week I learned (or was reminded of) the Police (at was it Live Aid or Amnesty International?) handing over their instruments to U2 as a symbolic gesture that they were disbanding. What a waste. As much as I love Sting and his solo work, I miss the energy they created together. Listening to the Oysterhead CD makes me realize how much I miss the trio. Michelle
