Mitch, Couldn't agree more.... saw the crowdies a few weeks ago in Brisbane. Were awesome. They had lost none of their stage presence ( aside from Paul not being there on stage with them ). But then the crowdies were always a different breed to the Police. We would call them a pub band down here! Cheers from down here! -----Original Message----- From: police-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:police-bounces@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Mitch Darby Sent: Friday, 30 November 2007 7:19 AM To: police@mailman.xmission.com Subject: RE: [Police] Should I go ...? ONE SHOW IS ENOUGH...FOR ALL OF US ;o)
just my $0.02 Agreed! Your $0.02 is quite a bit less than the nearly $800 I dropped to see them in Seattle. I've since gone the dimeadozen.org route to get my fix. And though I've downloaded every show I find, I've only listened to a few. For the amount of creativity and musicianship between those three guys, it's too bad they can't be even a little more like the resurrected Crowded House - who not only ARE playing a different setlist each and every night, but are playing obscure songs from their back history, taking audience requests, and even making up songs on stage.
