It is probably from the "Music for Montserrat" concert - a charity event to raise money for the little island when it was hit by an earthquake some years ago. The concert has been released on a video which comes with a 3 track CD (Take Me Home, Brothers in Arms and Hey Jude). Sting is only on Hey Jude. I have the video, but I haven't watched it for a while. Sting makes a couple of appearances, though. Hope this helped. Mikkel On 8 Jul 2002 at 11:53, Jason Startt wrote:
I just downloaded a live version of "Hey Jude" off of Bearshare featuring Paul McCartney, Elton John, and our man Sting. It's an awesome version, and the sound quality is great. Does anyone know what album this came from? What was the concert? When was it? Are there any more tracks?
It definitely sounds like a Paul McCartney concert with Elton and Sting as guests.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks, Jason
