Thanks for all your congratulatory e-mails everyone!! The shows in Toronto were incredible, and being in the front row right between Sting and Andy last night was AMAZING! My wife, Tara, joined me up front. Fortunately Jock had tickets in the second row and was able to make it up to the front next to me for a little bit. Chris' seats were really good too. Winning the tickets was certainly a team effort.I was simply the lucky one that got through on the phone once we figured out the last song in the montage (Jock figured it out actually)..so..a BIG thanks goes out from me to Jock and Chris! But who are you taking, Jock or Chris???? M Bruce Greenwood <bruce.greenwood@rogers.com> wrote: Just a quick story I think you guys might be interested in: A local radio station in Toronto has been holding a competition for the last few days in which the prize was a pair of front-row seats to Friday's concert here in Toronto . To win the tickets you had to be the seventh caller and you had to correctly identify all 10 songs. I tell you, it was tough. To hear clips of 10 songs go by in 5 seconds or less and identify them was much harder than you might think. All the sounds are very familiar, and while a handful of songs were immediately obvious, correctly identifying all the songs was a real challenge. Fortunately it became a bit of a team effort, as my friends Jock, Chris Orange (Chris is on this list), and I listened over and over again to the clip we recorded, and we discussed for ages on multiple telephone conference calls what the songs might be. Over the last three days each of us was able to get through to the radio station as the seventh caller, and with a variety of combinations of song choices, we had anywhere from 7 to 9 of the songs correctly identified. Some other callers were quite good, and a handful of callers were truly clueless. Ultimately, Jock, Chris, were certain we knew which 9 songs we had correctly identified and which song had to be jettisoned from the list. And just yesterday evening Jock figured out what the song was that we were having trouble identifying. Armed with what we now thought was the correct final list of songs, I ended up being the lucky one that got though as the seventh caller when the competition resumed this morning..and...drumroll please (thank you, Stewart)..I won a pair of front row tickets to Friday's concert!!!!!!!!! How cool is that!?!?
