I don't know if everybody is aware of the Police wiki pages that Sockii and
Dirty Martini created.
This website tries to include all the information from magazines, books,
internet etc. in one place.
It's still in an early stage, so the website needs more input.
I'm working on the Police timeline - trying not only to list the activities
for every single day, but also to show tickets, flyers, ads - and if possible:
photos
now we want to be serious with this, so we just show photos where the
photographer allowed us to do so (there are copyright laws, after all - the same
is true for articles or book passages...)
but here are a few pages from the Police timeline which show you how it
might look
to have more pages look like these it would be great to have your input
!!
although I normally specialise in The Police stuff only I also fill in all
the Sting and other solo concerts
now the wiki language is a difficult one if you're not used to it, so I
would propose to make it easy for you:
I'd like to get all your ticket scans, flyers, photos you took yourself and
would like to share (would need your full name to give credit) and everything
else that comes to your mind !
I can't promise that everything you'll send will be updated immediately,
because there's just so much work to do, but I'll get to it
