Yeah, they killed the nice Southpark Meadows area....it's sad really.

But....I saw Sting here in Austin at the Erwin center in like 2000 or 2001 for his Brand New Day tour with Johnny Lang. After that I've seen in twice in San Antonio in 2004. Once at the Majestic Theater (with Chris Botti) which was totally amazing and the next was at the Verizon Wireless Ampitheater with Annie Lennox....also amazing. I prefer the Majestic as a local...more personal and just beautiful.

Anyway...point being that you should not count San Antonio or Austin out! : )
