It is so funny how this can be taken out of context and twisted into something else. This quote in this article is from a little article in the latest People magazine. It has a nice picture of Fiction Plane and a picture of Sting and Joe together backstage. In the little Q&A he does say this, but it does sound as if he was joking at the time. The Police may not finish tour, says Sting's son
30/06/2007 - 17:13:55
Sting's musician son Joe Sumner has thrown doubt on whether reformed rockers The Police will be able to put up with each other long enough to complete their comeback tour.
Sumner, whose band Fiction Plane is supporting The Police on the road in America, admits the supergroup's bandmates - his father has and Stewart Copeland - have a volatile relationship.
"We'll see if they make it through the year," he said. "They might beat each other to death.
"They are very passionate and have different opinions, but I think they'll put their differences aside in order to feel like rock stars one last time."
