Kevy & I were away the week before last. On our first day in England, my dad's cousin gave us a guided tour around Salisbury. I had to laugh, as I had told him a while before that I had tickets to see The Police this summer (he's a retired copper in his '60's, so maybe he was not sure what I was on about). Anyway, we're taking the "scenic route" from Salisbury to Stonehenge, etc... He says, "have you heard of the rock star, Sting". Uh, yeah. "Well, this is his house, but we'd better not stop as the security people get a little upset when people hang around" (he used to work for the local constabulary, so I did not want to get him into trouble). It was not what I had expected -- huge hedge around the front, I'm guessing that they must have more land in back of the house (or, they paid too much for it).

Very surreal, as I had not expected to just drive on by. We were pretty jet-lagged too, so this was rather strange. Given that most of us on the list probably have spent enough on tours, albums, DVD's, T-shirts, etc... (I think I own almost everything he has ever released to the public), I figured, hey let's knock on the door & ask to use the loo. It's OK, I'm a fan club member ;-) I'd never have the nerve to do so, but it would be comical.

Anyway, do any of you have any sort of Police fan group on Facebook? I just joined & would like to display my proud fan membership to my friends. If anyone is interested in starting one, let me know.
