Here is my 2 cents on the show..... I flew from LA to make the show. Was hoping it would be like the MF opening show at the Academy years back. That is you get there late and can sitll stand in the back and watch the show. Unfortunately this time the place was so jammed that if you had floor seats you couldn't even get on the floor of the ballroom - if you arrived after 7pm. You had to stand at the back outside area and watch. If you had floor seats you couldn't get into the balcony ... and from what I could tell most of the good balcony seats were reserved. This is of course all my fault... I should have waited in line... Of course when you are in NYC for about 40 hrs and your wife is with you (who has never seen NYC) you have some obligation to tour.
The show itself was the same as the Paris show... no Mary J... no Cheb. After the show we waited on Sting to leave in the cold for about 1hr. He came out and signed a few autographs. Trudie was with him. Then drove away in a Mercedees S600.
