...remember how a couple of years ago we heard that Sting was one of the artists contributing a track to a Christmas album which would be sold in aid of a charity, which I think was probably Save The Children, but I'm not 100% sure on that score. What I do remember for certain is that the track Sting gave them was called "Where Will You Be For Christmas".I looked for it around Christmas that year and then last year, but haven't been able to ascertain whether this album was released or not.Does anyone have more details,or have they heard the song? All the best, Angeline

oooooh, I'm getting all verklempt (don't know how to spell that, I just heard it on SNL one time!!!)
How about this.... Instead of Andy and Stew inviting Bono to do the South Africa show, how about Joe? He just needs a little more yoga, a little bleach and he's there!
Ooh we are reverting back to the teen years, aren't we?

Geez its been a long time girls! Makes me kind of sad <sniff> Well here is a thought.....maybe we can all be 15 again for one night. Lets take it as it is and enjoy the Police together again even if it is for one night. I for one and planning on being 18 yrs younger for one night. I am getting out my ancient Police tshirt and i am going to squeeze into it. Then i am going to watch them perform and probably get all emotional.
Ho hum.....i must be down tonight haha..

Hello All !
I got the chance to interview Stewart while he was promoting TAMA stuff back in July in Belgium and he told me that the project above would be materialized in mid-2003. For now, they still have to agree on common dates are their own agendas are full of events !
Stewart also told that it would mainly be a 'Live' project and that they would try some "experiences" ! Quite intriguing...

Just a bit of exciting news from the STUNG camp--->
What a week it has been for Police fans! And a few fans from the San Francisco Bay Area got an extra special treat this week.
Eric Swihart, bass player for Police tribute band STUNG (www.stunglive.com), got to chat with Ian Copeland, former Police booking agent and brother of the groups drummer, Stewart Copeland, at the family's Backstage Cafe restaurant in Los Angeles last weekend.
When offered a complimentary STUNG LIVE @ BIMBO'S cd for his private listening pleasure, Ian promotly took the disc out and put it on the house stereo and played it for the whole restaurant, and proceeded to critique it song by song! Turns out he really liked what he heard, and gave him his number telling us to stay in touch! Pretty cool, eh? We will see what develops, but he was so nice, it was a thrill to get an unofficial endorsement from an insider from the Police camp!
We can't wait for March 10. Is there gonna be a "Fan" event in NYC, or elsewhere? Somone suggested putting a party together, I think it is a great idea. I will say now that STUNG will make themselves available to perform for any party or event that is arranged for the occasion! Let us know if you or anyone other Police fans are interested in having us play! After all, you ALL are the real fans!
Cheers, -Bee STUNG www.stunglive.com

Hi everybody
the best concert I ever saw was SEMISONIC in a small club in Cologne. It's hard to get any records here. Is there any fan of the group out there in the U.S. who can get me the latest Dan Wilson solo stuff (live CD, CD single ...)???
I've got enough Police material to trade...

Hello everydoby! Can I tell you a little secret? In some cases, some photographers simply 'added' some more hair on Sting head (I've seen it with my eyes!), just re-touching the pictures...BUT...= I think he look absolutely better with the hair he has always had (he never had so many hair...take a closer look at old pictures), I think this gave him a certain aspect. ....don't tell him!!! Ciao ciao Giovanni
