Hi all,
I thought I'd unlurk to share this story...
http://www.meridianmagazine.com/music/020206here.html
Scroll down and you will find the section on Sting. An excerpt:
"At the conclusion of a recent recording session, Sting stepped before
the [Mormon Tabernacle Choir] and said: 'I am deeply moved.
To hear human beings sing this way--with such clarity and unity--
makes me proud to be a human being...one of God's children.'"
The local news (ksl.com) showed Sting saying this - he said it with tears
in his eyes. I must add that as wonderful as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir
sounded at the Opening Ceremonies, they are infinitely more powerful when
you hear them live. It is no surprise that Sting was so moved.
Happy Olympics to all,

Surprise, Surprise... Sting checking out his glorious bicep? I'm sure he
NEVER does that!
Thanks for the post so WE can check it out.

Dear Everyone,
In the extended remix of DSSCTM '86, in the first 20 seconds of song, Sting
can be heard in the background singing "Those days are over" and then
something that I can't make out. Does anyone know what he says?
Thanks!
Love,
Courtney
Just thought I'd share....
My friends at work are so fun...
Last year on Valentine's Day they gave me an engagement ring "from" Sting (a diamond sequin stuck on a gumball machine ring). I still have it, by the way.
This year, I got a Valentine "from" Sting and a coupon for a private concert. Where do you think I can redeem it? ;)

Anyone know where I can get hold of the Sting Brand New Day DVD? I had one
ordered at Amazom but they can no longer get them.
Also any other DVD's on Sting and The Police I am on the lookout for
particularly the Gateshead DVD.
Anyone help?
I am in the UK.
Don't know if this has been mentioned before.....
In the Feb. 18 People magazine (the one with the news lady who had plastic surgery) there's a pic of Sting and Sheryl Crow. They are arm wrestling or something and Sting is checking out his own (pretty decent) bicep.
Saw it at my dentist's office.
